EJ: Like who, you mean the killer? Really, William? This guy's gonna walk away scot-free. Their entire investigation is going to be focused on me. Oh! And let me tell you something. When this gets out, my political career is over!

Will: I mean, I thought--I was trying to help you. I thought, you know, doing the polygraph would end the speculation on your involvement.

EJ: Right, well, let this be the first and last of your bright ideas, eh?

Nicole: You just don't strike me as the kind of man who worries about what's good for him.

Daniel: Oh, yeah, well, you know what? Obviously not, or I wouldn't be naked in your bed, now would I?

Sami: [Laughs] You know, she always used to say, um, "Samantha gene, your determination is gonna get you places someday."

Lucas: She said that?

Sami: [Laughs] Yes. At the time, it was just putting me in detention. But you know, I always held on to that. I figure, if you can't believe Mrs. Horton, who can you believe?

Lucas: Don't act so surprised. I think our relationship's going great, don't you? Come on, I chucked some baggage in Hong Kong. I'm not that bad anymore.

Sami: [Laughs] Well, that's good, 'cause I have enough baggage for both of us.

Nicole: That's fine. But just now and this morning? Not light. Just tell me what's going on.

Daniel: All right, well, do I have to spell it out for you? Hmm? I mean, this is a complicated situation right here. You're pregnant with EJ's baby, Rafe is pretending to be the father, and I helped you switch the DNA tests, and you and I--

Will: Oh, um, I don't know, some people can be difficult, so you need a firm hand in dealing with them.

Lucas: Amazing.

Lucas: It's almost as if EJ's taken up ventriloquism.

Will: [Laughs] That's not funny.

EJ: Samantha, wait, please. You're right. Something is bothering me. My entire reputation is at stake.

Sami: Hey, it can't get much worse, can it?

EJ: My approval rating is over 80%, thank you very much.

EJ: It is serious. Look, you know I'm under investigation for my father's murder, right?

Sami: Yeah, but so is half the town.
