EJ: Well, at least not right now, eh?

Will: I can handle EJ.

Sami: Oh, famous last words.

Will: You know what, instead of complaining, why don't we all just be grateful that he bailed me out of jail?

Sami: He must have said something to you about it. What does he expect for bailing you out?

Will: Um, me to work for the mayor's office?

Sami: Do we look like we were born yesterday?

EJ: Do you think I touched a nerve? You know what, Rafe, I have to say... I'm rather glad I bumped into you. I want to have a conversation with you about my father's murder investigation.

Rafe: Wow, that's funny. Last time I tried to talk to you about it, you kicked me out of your house.

Will: Well, I have to take my chances. Okay, look, as far as college jobs go, this is not a bad gig. Okay? Would you rather me, um, bus tables at a coffeehouse?

Sami: Hey, you know what, you should be happy to take any honest job. Whatever it is.

EJ: Agent Spencer. You know, I had rather hoped, when you took over this investigation, that you would bring a breath of fresh air to this case. It's disappointing, to be frank, that you seem to be following the Salem Police Department down the same tired road.

Spencer: And what road is that, Mr. DiMera?

EJ: The one that leads to me being a suspect in my father's murder.

Rafe: Were Stefano around today, EJ would have nothing. Nothing.

Spencer: Means, motive, and opportunity.

Rafe: Yeah, well, not to mention the fact that I think he's the only suspect that's capable.

Spencer: Of shooting and killing his own father in cold blood?

Rafe: Absolutely.

Sami: EJ blackmailing will-- I'm gonna find him today, and I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind.

Lucas: No, I told you that is the worst thing you could possibly do right now.

Sami: Are you serious? You want me to just stay here, do some window shopping? Just hope like hell it magically gets better all by itself?

Nicole: Well, I wouldn't put it past you to make trouble for Daniel or Rafe, because they're both my friends.

EJ: "Friends"? Really? I think "accomplices" would be a slightly more fitting description, don't you?

Sami: He was not gonna rot in jail. I was coming to bail him out myself. Lucas and I are his parents. Why don't you let us take care of him?

EJ: Oh, I'm sure it must have slipped my mind what a crack team of parents you two are.

Sami: EJ, I know how much you cared about Lexie. I know how important she was to you, and I-I can only imagine how you must be feeling right now.

EJ: So you--what, you thought you'd just come over and make me feel worse, did you?

EJ: Samantha, I'm the mayor. Okay? I run DiMera Enterprises. It's not a nefarious organization.

Sami: Oh! Give me a break.

EJ: Okay, fine. All right, if you don't wish him to continue under my personal tutelage, I'd give him another job. Maybe he could work for Countess Wilhelmina.

Sami: Great. You'd let him work for me?

EJ: Not exactly, no. I thought that maybe you could work for him. How does that sound? Hmm?

Will: Hey. Here are the city budget documents that you wanted.

EJ: You're late. Did you stop over at your mother's place for some milk and cookies?
