Victor: You, as the kids say, are out of my league.

Maggie: Nice try. Why don't you give it another shot? And this time I want the truth.

Lexie: Huh. You know what? Because that's exactly how I felt... thanks to you, my sweet, sweet, sweet, precious little brother.

EJ: "Sweet"? Really? This Parisian air is getting to you.

Billie: I don't know. But I would imagine soon. I mean, it's not like they're gonna share that kind of information with me.

Austin: Well, why wouldn't they share that information with you? You're connected. You're ex-I.S.A. I mean, they told you when everyone was alive.

Roman: All right, Stefano, make yourself comfortable. We're gonna be a while.

Rafe: That's the understatement of the year.

Roman: Got a lot of paperwork to do. We're gonna be thorough. Don't want you skating on a technicality.

Bo: Not when we have enough to put you away for the rest of your life.

Hope: Don't worry. You're not gonna wake up from this bad dream.

Billie: I know, but even starting a family, you don't want to rush into that.

Austin: Rush? What are you-- do you know how long I've known Carrie?

Carrie: But that's normal for me. I mean, my cycle's off sometimes, especially when I'm under a lot of stress.

Marlena: Well, speaking from experience, I know that being in love with somebody who's not your husband can be very stressful.

Marlena: I know. I know you did. But we will be out of here at some point soon. And you'll want to be with Rafe, and I know that having a child, even having a pregnancy, could make things very complicated.

Carrie: I know what a baby would mean, Marlena.

Marlena: Good. I'm on your side.

Carrie: It's Rafe. Rafe.

Rafe: Carrie. It's over. Did you hear what I said? Stefano's reign of terror is over. Listen, I'm down at the station. You and Marlena should get down here.

Shane: A sight for sore eyes, isn't it?

Hope: A beautiful one.

Stefano: I am so happy that I could give you something to celebrate about, especially after your fantastic return from your graves.

Bo: Come on, Stefano. You don't have to put on a brave face for us.

Hope: Deep down, we know you're panicking.

Hope: That's why he did it. Isn't it? To prove you could get away with it? Because the great Stefano DiMera's untouchable?

Stefano: Oh, you know me so well.

Victor: You're not going to grill me on my birthday?

Maggie: Only if you give me reason to.

Maggie: Look, you are keeping something from me, Victor. Now, I don't know whether you can't tell me or you don't want to tell me, and that is your prerogative. But you know what? It is my fault... for believing that you would want to be honest with me no matter what. Happy birthday.

Stefano: All right, and, um, I think you would be more satisfied with the fable that is called Sisyphus, you see. That was when the gentleman had to push up a big boulder up a hill, but what happened was that the boulder kept coming down and going over him.

Shane: Except this time, we managed to push the boulder all the way up the hill, didn't we?

Hope: You lost control, Stefano. You lost control of everything-- your empire, your ego, even us, your pawn and Principessa. We'll never be your victims again. You kept me from my family, my husband when he needed me most. I think it only fitting I return the favor tenfold. You will never see your family again.

John: It's a tough break, pal. You know, I'm really sorry that there isn't a punishment fit for your crimes. I guess you'll have to make do with a 8-by-5-foot cell.

Marlena (to Stefano): I tried to find a way to say good-bye to the man I love most in this world. Can you even conceive of how painful that was for me? You can't, can you? Because there's something very wrong with you... inside you. You're broken. You're dark. You're evil. I don't hate you. I find you pitiful.

Shane: All right, there you go. That's all of it.

Roman: So, for the record, you are declining?

Stefano: You see, the phone call is redundant. When everybody finds out that I have been arrested, that's gonna travel faster than anything your mind could come up with.

Roman: Oh, Stefano. Well, in that case, we better get you to your cell before I make a wrong turn somewhere.

Stefano: I'm--I'm fine.

Lexie: What do you mean you're fine? You--you've been arrested.

Stefano: You know that crazy Roman and his friends there. They don't know what the hell they are doing.

EJ: I'm not going up against the I.S.A.

Lexie: Oh, oh, so suddenly you're intimidated by the I.S.A.?

Victor: For years, my business was just that-- my business. I wasn't accountable to anyone. I did what I thought was best, and that was that.

Maggie: [Laughs tearfully] Because you're victor Kiriakis.

Victor: Then I fell... hopelessly and foolishly in love with you. We lived an entirely different kind of life. To be suddenly expected to... be on such a high level of honesty... I wasn't used to that.

Maggie: Are you kidding? That is your rationale-- that you're just used to lying to people?

John: Ah, I love the smell of victory.

Hope: Have a cookie.

Marlena: Well, may we go?

John: I think my wife wants to get out of here.

Hope: She's not the only one.

John: What do you want him for?

Newman: I want him released immediately. Uncuff him.

Roman: No! No!
