Sami: You know, I was just paying the bills online, and, Rafe, we have, like, $62 in our account. You know, Allie needs a new pair of shoes, and Johnny just ripped a hole in his jeans, and we are gonna have to pay for all those Christmas gifts next month.

Rafe: Yeah, don't worry. Things are gonna turn around soon.

Sami: Yeah, and, in the meantime, if any kid loses a tooth, we're gonna have to shove it back in there because the tooth is fairy tapped out.

Sami: (finding Kate at the door) I should have known you'd have an obnoxious knock.

Kate: Smart businesspeople do not let personal malice affect their decisions. And I am as smart as they come. And, despite our differences, you are a talented and savvy businesswoman.

Sami: You said that with a straight face. You're getting better, Kate. You should keep up that practice.

Kate: Sami, do you really think I'm that evil?

Sami: That's a rhetorical question, right?

Rafe: (about Stefano) Yeah, that's for sure. In my experience, there's nothing the man can't get without the three Bs.

Carrie: The three Bs?

Rafe: Buying, bribing, blackmailing.

Kate: Look, I'm being honest with you. I don't have an agenda.

Sami: Kate, you always have an agenda.
