Vivian: I mean, really, does it have to be this ugly and depressing just because it's a hospital?

Nurse: Yada, yada, yada.

Vivian: You'd think that they--some texture, grass cloth, or some-- am I talking to myself?

Nurse: Pretty much.

Vivian: Why do I have to want something? You're my daughter-in-law. I came by to say hello.

Melanie: Great. Two things--one, I am not your daughter-in-law. And two, you never just come by to say hello. You always have an agenda.

Vivian: Oh, you do have my number don't you, you cutie?

Chloe: Oh, my God, why can't everyone just keep their mouths shut?

Philip: Yeah, well, good luck with that.

Melanie: Vivian, your spooky talk doesn't faze me. I do know my husband's mind, and I know that he would never want to live with you and Victor because you're certifiably insane.

Vivian: Ha. Well, thank you. Actually, I wasn't expecting a decision today. I was just trying to lay the groundwork.

Melanie: Really, it's like talking to a chair.

Melanie: (Melanie makes Carly feel better by complimenting her skills as a doctor) You feel better?

Carly: I do feel better.

Melanie: I'm good like that.
