Melanie: (referring to working with Max at the Pub) Well, I don't know. I could work here. Hang signs up with the best of them. I'm kidding. If I worked here, all you'd do is yell at me, not unlike what they do at the hospital.

Max: I'm serious. I wish I knew you back then, you know.

Melanie: Well, I was a holy terror.

Max: Unlike now?

Stephanie: Why are you being so stubborn about this?

Philip: Because I'm a man…

Melanie: (shocked at hearing of Philip and Stephanie’s engagement) However, Philip was wrong. You say "congratulations" to the guy because he's the one who won the prize, but you say "best wishes" to the girl because she has no idea what she's gotten herself into.
