Bo: (Hope surprises Bo with a romantic picnic in the park) Um, did you...

Hope: Cook?

Bo: Yeah.

Hope: Did you not hear the word "gourmet"?

Bo: Define "gourmet."

Hope: Anything I didn't cook.

Lucas: (Philip agrees with Lucas that Sami won’t react well to the news that she must share joint custody of Allie with Lucas) That's my guess, too. Unfortunately, she doesn't have a choice.

Philip: When did that ever stop her?

Sami: (trying to evoke sympathy from EJ about not wanting to share custody of Allie with Lucas) Not even you? I mean, you have had to deal with Allie's night tremors, just like I have. And we both figured out how to deal with it, how to help her, and maybe Lucas will figure it out, too, but what if he doesn't? Can you imagine what it'll be like for Allie waking up in a completely different room without any of the things that are familiar to her, without her dollies, with -- with that woman looking over her? Chloe's enough to give anyone nightmares.

E.J.: (Sami claims that Allie won’t understand why she’s suddenly spending time away from home with Lucas) I think she's more like her mother than you think.

Sami: Well, that's not exactly comforting. I mean, look what happened to me in my childhood, with my Fathers coming and going with no reasonable explanation. My mom was taken from me and then miraculously brought back. All of that completely messed me up. I wasn't exactly a poster teen for mental health.

Sami: I just feel that this whole nightmare is going to have long-term damaging effects on Allie, and I don't understand why no one else sees that.

John: Oh, I do.

Sami: Don't patronize me.

John: I'm not. I know about trauma. It bites.
