Questions & Comments by Michele & Cheryl

If any of you like to read romance novels, you will get what weíre trying to say about Kayla. Her actions with Steve reminded us of a romance novel. She was giving him a hard time about not telling her about his feelings for her. She is supposed to be in love with Justin so why did it matter how he felt? She knew she loved Steve, but she didnít want to admit it. Steve was supposed to make the grand gesture and sweep her off her feet. She gave him such a hard time for not telling her about his feelings for her. She was willing to marry a man she didnít love because the one she did love wouldnít admit it. How does that sound? She hated what she did to Justin, but she had no problem walking away and running to Steve. We would have loved to see what would have happened if Justin didnít tell her anything. She wouldnít have called off the wedding if he didnít stand up and tell her the truth. She obviously went to the airport to see Steve so she could yell at him. He may not have been right to keep his feelings from her, but that wouldnít have mattered if she really loved Justin.

Justin had a weird encounter when he went to the cemetery. He thought he saw Adrienne, but it turned out to be Bonnie. He went off of her for being at the cemetery. We know that Kayla running to be with Steve had everything to do with his attitude towards her. He didnít get a chance to react to what happened at the wedding so Bonnie gave him the opportunity to do it. Their scenes were surprisingly good. Justin got a chance to stop being ďonĒ. He didnít have to act like he was such a saint with her. He was able to be himself and it was nice to see. We arenít sure if Judi Evans is going to stay on the show, but it was good to see her work with Wally Kurth again.

Marlena and John found out about Allieís baby. Itís funny how Allieís been in town for weeks, but they just found out about her baby. They must be the only ones in town (except for Roman) who didnít know she was pregnant. They were supportive of her being pregnant. She could have gone to them already when she arrived in town. Marlena wasnít thrilled at the idea of her keeping Sami in the dark about the baby. She thought she should have told her mother about it. Allie tried to justify her decision to keep the truth from Sami. Marlena tried to defend Sami when Allie talked about how she would take over her pregnancy. Marlena also talked to her about her decision to put her baby up for adoption. Allie got an attitude with her when she told her that she wanted Rafe to be the father of her baby. Marlena didnít think it was a good idea because he was married to Sami. It actually makes more sense because heís not related to the baby the way Will and Sonny are. It would be harder for her to be around the baby knowing that her brother was the one raising it.
