We weren’t sure we understood what
was going on with Eli’s situation. He has an Inn that his
grandmother gave him when he came to town. We remember she
gave it to him and almost everyone in Salem has lived there.
He also has a lot of Hortons in town so it didn’t make
sense for him to feel he had to crash at Rafe’s place. He
also had to stay on the couch when Rafe’s place is big
enough for him to have slept in a bed. Gabi and Dario
don’t live with Rafe anymore so he had extra rooms in the
We cheered Lani on when she told
Valerie about Gabi’s mantra. She told her how she always
does bad things and then talks about her daughter when her
back is against the wall. She was so right about that. Gabi
never thinks about Arianna until she’s about to be busted
and punished for her crimes. It’s too bad that Lani is the
only one on the show to realize the truth. It helps how Gabi
targeted her, but she couldn’t be more right about that.
Once again Ben was quick to judge
whether Claire changed. He really isn’t in a position
where he could judge Claire’s sanity. He is convinced that
Claire might still be unstable. Did he forget that he was in
her position just two years ago? The people in Salem thought
he was still crazy when he first came back to Salem.
Gabi and Chad had another run in about her trial. She
was convinced that she wouldn’t get convicted for what he
did, but he thought she would go to jail. We are convinced
that Chad is the one setting Gabi up for drugging Abby.
He’s just a little too willing to convict her when he
doesn’t have proof that she did anything. She wasn’t
around when Abby took the drink, but he’s sure she’s the
one doing it. She would have to be psychic to have drugged
her drink and no one else managed to get any of it. Abby
hallucinated while at the hospital, but Gabi wasn’t there.
Chad was the one there during most of Abby’s episodes. We
know he’s the one doing that to her, but he expects Gabi
to go to prison for his crime.
