We enjoyed seeing Jack grill Gwen about
the newspaper clippings and the lie she told Jennifer about
trying to help them get together. Gwen tried to lie her way
out of his accusations, but he didn’t believe her. We were
hoping that he wouldn’t have been one more person letting
her off the hook for her actions. He showed that he actually
is an investigative reporter. We were hoping someone would
finally confront her about the lies she keeps telling.
It was strange seeing Jennifer give
Kate advice about being with Jake. Jennifer must be very
forgiving to give her advice on how to keep a man. Kate was
acting as if Jennifer did something to her when she was
talking to her. Considering Kate slept with her husband, you
would think she would have been a little nicer to Jennifer.
Speaking of Jennifer, maybe she wanted Kate to stay with
Jake so she wouldn’t go after Jack.
Chad caught Abby and Jake together. She
explained to Chad that she wasn’t with Jake, but he
didn’t believe her. He said there was proof that she
booked a room with him even though she said she didn’t.
She finally told him Kate was the one sleeping with Jake.
Chad couldn’t believe they would be together. It was
something that he couldn’t believe Kate could be with
Jake, but he had no problem thinking Abby could be with him.
Ava practically begged Charlie not have
her committed. She said she wouldn’t tell anyone that he
“took advantage” of Allie. It was too late for her to
tell him she would keep quiet about what he did. She should
have told him that in the first place. If she did, he might
not have been willing to have her committed. It’s hard to
believe she is supposed to be a ruthless mobster.
