2005 Our Opinion!

My Opinion by Jamison

My homework made me late again.  Anyway, this week on DAYS gets a one-word rating from me: ďEh.Ē  All right.  Letís go.

Shawn/Belle/Philip/Mimi: I really donít have too much to say about Philip this week, but I do have to say that Belle looked cute in her hospital bed with her baby.  I also liked her scenes with Marlena, but Iíll get to those in the section below.  But on to Shawn and Mimi, Iím so glad they finally kissed!  That was a searing-hot wet one that sent shivers up my spine!  It looks like Shawn and Mimi are on the way to becoming a couple.  Good thing, too, because Shawn deserves better than spoiled, indecisive-to-the-point-of-paralysis Belle.

John/Marlena/Alex: Shoot!  It looked like they were finally making progress this week!  Marlena seemed to be getting her memories back (this week, she remembered holding Belle for the first time after her birth and one of her very special dates with John).  Just as it looked like they were going to kiss ó and probably give Marlena a good push toward getting back more memories ó Alex calls her on her cell phone and plays some weird music for her, hypnotizing her into asking John for a divorce.  Oh, that man is evil and will probably be on the way out by the time this storylineís over.  Itís a shame, too, because I like Wayne Northrop, but Dr. North, by committing these horrible acts alone, has quite possibly lost all hope of redemption.  I donít know what his game is, but itís not a good one at all.

Lucas/Sami/Austin/Nicole: I really had to side with Sami during her dispute with Lucas.  I mean, come on!  Lucas told her that she couldíve trusted in them finding their way back to each other.  Uh, hello, dummy!  You told her again and again that there was no forgiving her no matter what she did!  She had no choice!  Sorry, pal, but I donít entirely fault Sami for becoming Stan, because it was in part because of you.  On another front, I was quite impressed with Austin for getting Sami off the hook for her crimes as Stan.  I never even realized that Shawn, Rex, Brady, and Lucas acted independently of the military, so they couldnít be considered victims of treason.  And Sami selling them out to Tony couldnít be considered as treason because Tony was never officially declared an enemy of the country!  Wow.  And from what Iíve heard, Austin never was very smart.  Weird how he got Sami out of this one.  Lastly, I really Austinís chemistry with Nicole!  Maybe theyíll go ahead and try that.

Roman/Kate: I loved the look on Kateís face when she realized sheíd inadvertently gotten Sami off the hook.  Priceless!  All that gloating that Sami was finally going down, and lo and behold.  Her son finds the one loophole that gets her off the hook.  Good to see you in pain once again, Kate.  Roman mostly served the purpose this week of arresting Sami, so I donít have much to say about him.  Except that now that he and Kate are splitting up, he may be back-burnered, and thatíd be a crying shame.  Or maybe not ó Christie Clark is reprising her role as Carrie Brady pretty soon!

Lexie: Just tell Abe the truth about your affair with Tek already so Alex wonít have anything on you anymore!

Jack/Jennifer/Frankie: So Jenniferís finally learned the truth.  Finally!  Now maybe this storyline can get somewhere!  Jackís hopefully going to take some brunt from Jennifer about this.  And hopefully, Frankie will take some of it, too.  Nothing more to say here.

Bo/Hope: Like I thought, Hope wasnít thrilled at Bo giving Chelsea $250 for what she claimed was clothes for work and gas and insurance for her car.  But they made up pretty quickly and made love.  That was pretty much all I saw from them this week.  Oh, and his Patrick-bashing comments have gotten so old, I could send them to a retirement home!  (Hope that was funny.)

Patrick/Billie/Chelsea/Max: I donít really know what to say about Chelsea this week.  Oh, wait.  Yes, I do.  SLUT!  She used all the money she basically siphoned from her own father to buy herself some more slutty clothes!  Boís not going to like this.  But it looks like sheís going to at least try and get along with Billie.  She already seems to have softened a bit toward Bo.  She didnít even go off on Billie for being at that club with ď[her] man,Ē Patrick.  She really might be wanting to try her luck with Max for once.  Good sign, I think.  Other than that, I have nothing else to say about them this week, since they were only on Monday.

Next week, things begin to take a turn for John and Marlena.  Belle begins to get sick.

And thatís just whatís on my mind!
