2005 Our Opinion!

My Opinion by Jamison
6/5/05

Iíd like to write in detailed opinions of every storyline this week, but I was so sick this week that whenever I tried to watch the show, I ended up drifting off and missing some very crucial moments. And then, when I finally started getting better on Friday, there was a stupid French Open preemption because of some rain delay. Boring. But all of you in Canada got to see Fridayís episode because it aired on Thursday for you. But enough about that. Hereís what I think about the storylines I actually remember.

Chloe/Brady/Nicole: Iím so glad Bradyís found out that Chloe the Coward is alive and that Nicoleís been lying to him. Maybe now we can get some movement in this storyline. However, Iím not as happy that Brady let Tony escape. No, that was a bad move on his and the writersí parts.

Mimi: I was glad Mimi wasnít on all that much this week, so we didnít have to listen to her whining. Thatís pretty much all I can say about her.

Jack/Jennifer: So Jackís possibly getting sick and heís going to lie to Jennifer about it. Bad move, Jack. I canít believe it. He just got home and already heís lying to Jennifer. If heís getting sick, Jennifer has the right to know about it. Itís rumored that this storyline is what is supposed to bring Frankie back into the mix. Fine. Let it be so. Just make this storyline believable.

Hope/Bo/Bille: All I can say here is that Bo had better focus on being a husband and a father to the kids he knows he has rather than to the one he doesnít have yet. He promised Hope that heíd finally concentrate on his family, but heís only talked the talk. Can he walk the walk? Can he stay away from needy Billie for more than five minutes?

John/Marlena/Roman/Kate/Belle: Itís official. I hate Kate as much as all of you do. Hearing her spew all that filth about Sami and Belle was more than an annoyance. It was flat-out irritating. Even worse than that, John, Marlena, and Roman just stood there and let Kate trash their kids. Never once heard the word ďEnough!Ē come out of any of their mouths. If she spoke ill of my child, Iíd be defenestrating her. For all of you who thinks Kate needs to go, Iím jumping on the bandwagon for that.

Tony/Bart/Sami/Philip/Shawn/Rex/Brady/Lucas: So glad this is at last over. Sure, Tonyís escaped again, but at least Sami and the Four Musketeers are all going home. I could care less for what happens to Philip. All I can say is, he shouldnít have requested to head back into combat again so soon after being rescued from captivity. Thatís not even whatís supposed to happen. He was supposed to have been taken home and debriefed. But heís right back on duty. He got stuck in a minefield and nearly blown up. And get this. Heís going to be an amputee soon. Yeah, Iím done with this moron. He brought all this on himself. As for Sami and Lucas talking to Will, loved it. Shawn and Rexís respective phone talks with Belle and Mimi, loved them to a point. And, um, I have nothing else to say here. I pretty much zoned out through everything else this week.

The reunions with the freed hostages will be shown this week, along with a few other ďgroundbreakingĒ events. Look for a Victor/Caroline sighting, too, and a long-awaited reunion between Sami and her parents and Rex and Cassie. Even look for Rex to finally share a moment with his father.

And that's just what's on my mind!
