The article is a little late, but it's finally done.
Abby must have something wrong with her after all. She
wanted to keep Chad from having her committed so she had to
get help. For some reason, she chose to get help from
Stefan. She forgot the man raped her while she had her
psychotic break. The move she made was a slap in the face of
other rape victims. Stefan can have her committed too if she
doesn't do what he wants her to do. He can take the baby
from her if she refused to let him be near the baby. The
only good thing about that stupid plan of her was that Gabi
couldn't watch her get committed. Here's one more thought
before moving on: Wasn't that convenient how Abby was able
to get a quickie divorce from Chad?
The writers are trying too hard to get us to feel sorry
for Ben. We had to endure him going down memory lane when he
told Ciara about a childhood memory? Are we expected to feel
sorry for someone who killed people who didn't do anything
to him? This writing team must want us to forget his
wrongdoings because he was abused. The writers went an extra
mile to make Ben look good by revealing who set him up for
starting the fire at the cabin. Tripp ended up being the one
who set Ben up for the fire. Tripp wasn't at the cabin and
it wasn't in Salem so how did he get there to plant the
evidence? Tripp wasn't gone for long periods of time to
explain how he got to the cabin. The actor wasn't on screen
much, but no one said anything about him being gone. The
writers went to so much trouble to redeem Tripp only to have
him end up doing something like that. Why would Tripp bother
to change if he was going to do something like that?
Why do the writers insist on writing stand alone episodes
on Days? This time the writers did a Halloween themed
episode. It was a complete waste of an hour. The episode
wasn't bad, but it was a waste of time. The only thing that
came out of it was that Hattie's nightmare made her realize
that she wanted a divorce from John.
We enjoyed watching Lucas rip into Belle about not being
a good sister to Sami. Belle tried to justify why "baby
Bonnie" should be with her mother and he put her in her
place. She deserved it because she was acting high and
mighty when she judged him. Belle wasn't worried about Sami
at all. He also reminded her how she didn't apologize for
accusing Sami of shooting Marlena. He wasn't around them
during that time so he shouldn't know that happened. It was
a small detail that we are willing to overlook because we
enjoyed the look on her face when he said it.
Here a couple of random thoughts:
Sarah and Eric grew up together, but they acted as if
they didn't know each other when they saw each other again.
Kayla claimed it would be unethical to get the DNA test
Chloe waned done without consent. She was willing to risk
her job by helping John switch Marlena with Hattie at the
hospital with no problem. She wasn't worried about being
unethical when John wanted her help. She obviously didn't
want to help Chloe at first.
