Was anyone really surprised that Brady admitted to being
in love with Nicole? Everyone told him that he loved her so
it wasnít much of a bombshell when he admitted that he did
love her. Why else would someone abandon their child just to
help a woman keep her child unless he was in love with her.
Brady is one of the worst fathers in Salem. He could
actually be the worst father. He was willing to abandon Tate
just to be with Nicole. He said he loved Nicole and thatís
why he had to go on the run with her, but why leave Tate
behind? Doesnít he love his son? Maybe his love for his
son doesnít compare to the alleged great love for Nicole?
The writers had to go overboard trying to get us to root
for Chad and Gabi to be together again. This time Chad had
to be the one who got Gabi to wake up and get better. It was
so convenient that he was the only one who could do that for
her. The writers need to give us a break and stop shoving
them down our throats.
Chad retaliated against Deimos by getting him beat up.
Did Chad really think Deimos wasnít going to retaliate
against him for doing that? The only thing Chad accomplished
was making Deimos get even with him.
Valerie and Abe need to give Eli a chance to forgive her
for lying to him. It may not be that easy for him to get
over the betrayal. The last thing they need to do is keep
bugging him about it.
The writers really want us to care so much about Danielís
death. Victor insulted Eric because he had the nerve to
accidentally kill Daniel. He didnít even want to look at
him when he was on the street. Victor doesnít treat Deimos
the way he treated Eric and he killed Bo out of revenge. In
fact, he lives in the same house as the man who murdered his
son, but he wonít talk to a man who accidentally killed
Maggieís son. We get that the writers love Daniel so much,
but they didnít have to go out of their way to make his
death such a travesty. We may be considered monsters, but we
werenít that traumatized by his death. We were happy that
the writers finally decided to get rid of him. Itís too
bad that no one in Salem reacts that way to Boís death the
way they do over Daniel.
