Private detective Nick Hannigan teaches his tade to a group of aspiring gumshoes who are a bit too eager to test their crime-solving theories in the real world. In the opener one student becomes suspicious when ice-cream trucks make regular deliveries at a funeral home across the street from the school. When one of the classmates is missing, the rest of the students search for her at the home and discover more than dead bodies there.
