SOW 9/16
Eileen Davidson (Ashley) is visiting Y&R on a recurring basis again
starting 9/26, and will be a part of the Parisian remote during the week of
10/6.
Blowout: Bridget Learns The Truth! The bombshell that Nick slept with
Katie on Catalina and got her pregnant finally comes out this week, and
Bridget explodes. Nick set up a getaway on the Shady Marlin II to prepare
Bridget for his confession and is shocked when she plays dirty. Nick saw
this reaction coming, but Katie didn’t. Bridget confronts Katie and tells
her that their friendship is over.
John McCook talks about what Eric missed while he was comatose and about
the fireworks to come.
This Week: Stephanie and Ridge plot to bring Eric home. Nick apologizes
to Brooke. Donna is taken by surprise.
Can’t Miss: Rick unwittingly restarts the Brooke vs. Taylor war on 9/10.
Highlight of the Week: The Forrester family gets the miracle they’ve been
praying for on 9/12.
SOD 9/9/08
Eric Wakes Up and Donna Gives In! Last week, Pam tied Donna up in the
Big Bear cabin, poured honey all over her and let a bear wander in.
Thankfully, Owen arrived in time to save Donna, but Pam escaped into the
woods. Donna is very emotional and Owen takes her back to L.A., but doesn’t
want to leave her side. Owen offers to stay at Donna’s house because Pam is
still on the loose. Stephanie is at Eric’s bedside, praying for him to come
out of his coma. Stephanie opens her eyes to see that Eric is awake and he
asks for Donna. Back at the Forrester mansion, Donna gets out of the shower
and sees a picture of Eric. Donna remembers when Eric told her that when
she out-lives him, he wants her to go on with her life and not put her
happiness on hold. Owen enters with a cup of tea, but realizes that Donna
needs more than that. Owen pulls down the covers on the bed. Donna reacts,
but Owen says that she needs some rest. Owen tucks her in and tells her to
close her eyes. Owen leans in for a kiss, but stops himself. As he starts
to leave the room, he looks back and sees Donna giving him a “come-hither”
look. Owen sits down next to her and kisses her. Stephanie walks in to
tell Donna about Eric, but sees the kiss and sneaks back out without letting
them know she is there. Stephanie heads back to the hospital, where an even
bigger surprise is waiting.
Ratings for 8/11: 2.3
An apprehensive Nick prepares a surprise for Bridget on 9/3. Brooke is
blown away when Katie comes clean about her night with Nick on 9/4.
Heather Tom is featured as Performer of the Week for her portrayal of
Katie, while finding out about her character’s pregnancy.
What Will Happen: Donna’s life becomes more complicated. Ridge
confronts Stephanie, who is full of self-blame.

Crazy Rumor: Bridget will wind up pregnant, too, so Nick will have double
daddy duty.
Donna Cheats And Eric Wakes Up! Owen awakens Donna’s passions this week,
as Stephanie awakens Eric. Donna is grateful for the things that Owen has
done, especially saving her life. Donna is rattled after Pam’s stunt at Big
Bear and has no intention of cheating on Eric. Owen catches her in a very
vulnerable state and tries to convince her that Eric isn’t going to die.
Eric opens his eyes for the first time while Stephanie is there and he says
“Donna.” Owen brings Donna some tea and goes to tuck her in, but sees a
scared woman who looks like she needs someone. Owen goes to give Donna a
hug and it leads to something else. Donna gives in to the moment.
Stephanie stops by to tell Donna that Eric woke up and witnesses Donna and
Owen in bed together. Stephanie turns on her heel and walks away, vowing to
keep Donna out of Eric’s life no matter what.
Fall Preview! Stephanie takes serious steps to seize her rightful place
as matriarch of the Forrester family and enlists Ridge, Thorne and Felicia
to ensure she is at Eric’s side and Donna is out of his life forever. Rick
inadvertently opens up Pandora’s box about baby Jack, Taylor and Brooke.
How will Nick tell Bridget that he slept with the dying Katie on Catalina
Island? How will she react to the ultimate betrayal?
This Week: Ridge tries to comfort his mother. Nick plans a surprise for
Bridget. Stephanie takes matters into her own hands.

Betty White returns as Ann Douglas on 8/28, to make a disturbing phone
call.
Owen makes a plea to Ridge on 8/27, while a terrified Donna fights off a
masked intruder. Ann delivers troublesome news to Stephanie on 8/28, while
Donna heads to the safe haven of the Big Bear cabin where she receives an
uninvited guest. Owen, Marcus, Brooke and Ridge rush to Big Bear on 8/29.
Fall Forward (Fall Preview)! Owen has been a mighty force in Donna’s
life and it is getting more difficult for her to resist Owen’s affection.
When, Donna finally succumbs to the passion that she feels with Owen,
someone with ill intentions is waiting and watching. This person now has
the ammunition to get rid of Donna. Stephanie takes serious steps to seize
her rightful place as matriarch of the Forrester family. She enlists Ridge,
Felicia and Thorne to ensure she’s at Eric’s side and that Donna is out of
Eric’s life forever. Rick intervenes and brings Taylor into the picture to
garner her professional opinion. Rick inadvertently opens up a Pandora’s
box about baby Jack, Taylor and Brook. Nick struggles to tell Bridget that
he slept with a dying Katie and she is now pregnant with his child.
What Will Happen: Owen’s story changes. Damning evidence is uncovered.
SOW 9/2/08
Ronn Moss (Ridge) is engaged to longtime girlfriend, Devin
DeVasquez.
Heather Tom (Katie) will appear in at least 3 episodes of Ugly Betty
this fall playing the government liasion handling the case of Daniel’s
long-lost son.
Betty White (Ann) returns this week to share an important phone call
with Stephanie. Lives hang in the balance on 8/28.
Owen: Jailbreak! Owen is behind bars this week, leaving Donna in
danger from whoever really poisoned Eric. Owen confessed to Eric’s
attempted murder. Donna visits Owen in jail and he tries to convince
her that he is innocent and only confessed to keep her from being thrown
in jail. Stephanie comes to see him to attempt to get him to admit
Donna’s role in Eric’s poisoning, but Owen swears that he did it alone.
Ridge comes to visit Owen because he wants to look into the eyes of the
man who did this to Eric. Marcus shows up and Owen maintains his
innocence. Marcus doesn’t believe him, until a masked intruder attacks
Donna while Owen is still in jail. Marcus puts the pieces together and
realizes that it makes sense. Marcus and Steffy bail Owen out of jail.
Donna flees to the Big Bear cabin hoping to get away from the threat,
but doesn’t realize that she was followed. Owen makes a mad dash to
save the woman he loves.
Heather Tom talks about Katie’s pregnancy. Katie and Nick decide to
keep the baby this week. Katie views this as her one chance to have a
child. Katie and Nick discuss the situation and lay their feelings on
the line. They decide to see the pregnancy through as long as they
can. Nick and Katie are the only people who know about the pregnancy,
so they can block everyone else out and try to figure out how to tell
Bridget.
This Week: Beth and Stephen have a passionate encounter. Ann gives
Stephanie troubling news. The Bakers dig into Eric’s poisoning. Brooke
discovers evidence.
Can’t Miss: Donna is in danger at Big Bear on 8/29.
SOD 8/26
Eric Was Poisoned! Marcus’ digging around uncovers information that Eric was
poisoned this week. Marcus knows that Owen gave Eric a bottle of gin, which Eric
used to make himself a martini and shortly after, had a heart attack. Marcus
asks Bridget for help because as a doctor, she is the only one who can run any
tests. Bridget says that there isn’t anything they can do. Marcus says that he
believes someone tried to kill Eric and Bridget admits that they didn’t do a
full toxicology screening because everyone thought it was an actual heart
attack. Bridget tracks down a blood sample from when Eric was first brought in
and runs tests. Marcus’ suspicions are confirmed when the results come back
positive. There are traces of potassium chloride, which can induce a heart
attack. Marcus blames Owen, but there is no proof because the bottle was thrown
away. Donna was upset and wanted to drink the rest of the gin, but Owen pulled
it away from her and smashed it into pieces, saying she wasn’t going to do it to
herself. Bridget has no choice but to notify the police because of the evidence
of attempted murder. Lt. Baker and Charlie show up for a family meeting at the
Forrester house and everyone starts pointing fingers. By week’s end, an arrest
is made.
Ratings for 7/28: 2.4
John McCook is staying on the show as Eric Forrester, despite his character’s
precarious health status. The actor has recently signed a new contract.
Donna finds herself on the receiving end of a very angry Stephanie on 8/22.
What Will Happen: Taylor and Rick make a decision. Marcus gets thrown --
Literally.
SOW 8/26
Dan Martin returns as Lt. Baker on 8/21, 8/22, 8/25 and 8/26 to deal with Eric’s
poisoning.
Mykel Shannon Jenkins appears as Charlie on 8/21, 8/22 and 8/25.
Jacqueline Hahn returns on 8/22 as Dr. Caspary, Katie’s OB/GYN.
Sean Whalen returns on 8/20 as Carl, Bridget’s lab tech friend.
Eric Was Poisoned! Bridget reveals that Eric’s heart attack was poison-induced
this week, and Donna and Owen top the suspect list. Marcus becomes suspicious of
Owen when he realizes that Owen bought Eric gin when they met and that Eric
drank gin right before his heart attack. Marcus goes to Bridget with his
suspicions and she decides to have Eric’s blood tested. Marcus confronts Owen.
Eric’s test results come back and Bridget confirms that he was poisoned.
Stephanie blasts Donna for being in cahoots with Owen, but Donna stands up for
herself.
This Week: Thorne and Felicia can’t side with Ridge. Rick and Taylor enjoy each
other’s company. Stephanie demands answers.
Can’t Miss: Eric’s poisoning leads to a shocking arrest on 8/22.
SOD 8/19
Ratings for 7/21: 2.5
Dan Martin (Lt. Baker) and Mykel Shannon Jenkins (Detective Charlie Baker)
return to investigate a Forrester on 8/21, 8/22 and 8/25.
Ronn Moss (Ridge) has proposed to former Playboy playmate, Devin Devasquez. She
accepted and no official date has been set, but the wedding will happen in 2009.
Ridge Wants Eric to Die! Eric’s condition is deteriorating and Ridge unhooked
his dad’s ventilator last week. This week, medical personnel rush in and save
Eric. Ridge convenes a meeting with all of Eric’s children and Donna to explain
what he did. Ridge defends himself and suggests that they should end Eric’s
misery. The family pretty much agrees to take Eric off the ventilator, but Donna
says no. Ridge asks everyone to leave because he has to convince Donna.
Katie is rocked by Bridget’s request on 8/13. Katie leans on Beth as she battles
her torment of having betrayed Bridget on 8/14. Nick makes a startling admission
to Katie on 8/15, while Marcus is determined to win over Ridge.

What Will Happen: Ridge does the unthinkable and changes Eric’s destiny. Marcus’
words move Katie. Owen fights to keep his desire for Donna at bay.
SOW 8/19
Eileen Davidson (Ashley) has written her first book in a series of mysteries,
Death in Daytime will hit store shelves on 10/7.
Eileen Davidson (Ashley) has only been moved to recurring status, which explains
her disappearance from the opening credits.
Donna: “Goodbye, Eric. Hello, Owen?” Donna is faced with the decision of taking
Eric off life support this week, and Owen helps her through the crisis. Ridge is
trying to push the family to pull the plug, but that isn’t what Donna wants to
do. Owen tells Donna not to do it if she doesn’t want to. Owen wants Donna to be
happy because he really cares for her. Owen and Donna share a dance, in an
attempt to comfort her. Owen confesses that he is attracted to Donna, but Donna
is in love with Eric. Owen passionately kisses Donna.
This Week: Nick confesses his feelings to Katie. Beth learns her daughter’s
secret. Ridge has a difficult time forgiving himself. Bridget is puzzled by
Katie’s behavior.
Can’t Miss: Steffy and Marcus have a passionate encounter on 8/14.
SOD 8/5
Owen Kisses Donna! Donna announced last week that she will be running Forrester
Creations while Eric is in a coma, and that Ridge, Felicia, and Thorne would be
stepping down. This week, the reporters grill the new head of Forrester. Donna
emphasizes that it is her job to protect the company until Eric recovers because
he wanted her making decisions when he couldn’t. The journalists are ushered out
and Ridge goes ballistic. Donna says that if Eric didn’t think she could handle
it, he wouldn’t have given her his power of attorney. Donna tells Ridge, Felicia
and Thorne that they can leave, but Owen and Brooke can stay. They leave and run
into Pam on their way out. Felicia tells Pam that she is probably next to get
fired and Pam confronts Donna. Donna decides to keep Pam and sends her
downstairs to work. Brooke tries to get Donna to give up the company. Brooke
leaves and Donna has a meltdown. Owen offers encouragement. He gets carried away
and pulls Donna into a kiss.
Ratings for 7/7: 2.5
Owen tries to win over Marcus, but Marcus turns the tables on Owen on 7/30.
Brooke learns the truth about Owen on 7/31, while a conflicted Donna makes a
difficult choice. Steffy and Marcus take their relationship to the next level on
8/1.
What Will Happen: Owen’s spontaneity catches Donna off-guard. Brooke helps Ridge
come to terms with being dethroned.

her plan against Donna in motion.

MacKenzie Mauzy (Phoebe) joins the recurring list so that she can join the
cast of Broadway’s new musical, A Tale of Two Cities.
Alley Mills appears on 7/15 and 7/17 as Pam, when she stirs up trouble
again.
Ashley Jones talks about Bridget’s wedding to Nick this week. Katie balks
while presiding over the wedding and then spins it. Katie says that she can’t
preside over the wedding in the traditional way and that it has to come from the
heart, not the Bible. Bridget cries because it is so beautiful. Bridget is
aware that something happened between Nick and Katie and that it has changed
them.
This Week: Donna is bummed by Eric’s revelation. Tensions rise at
Forrester. Owen’s true nature comes out.
Can’t Miss: Brooke and Ridge make a surprising announcement on 7/17.
SOD 7/15
Ratings for 6/16: 2.4
Jeffrey Byron appears as the Justice of the Peace who performs Nick
and Bridget’s wedding on 7/11.
MacKenzie Mauzy exits the show as Phoebe Forrester. The actress has
landed a role in a Broadway musical and will still recur in the future
when her schedule permits.
Owen shows another side of himself to Donna on 7/10, while Katie
moves out of Nick’s house. Katie is stunned when the justice of the
peace arrives for her on 7/11.
What Will Happen: Ridge keeps a watchful eye. Felicia finds a loved
one in bad shape.
SOW 7/15
Jeffrey Byron appears on 7/11 as the Justice of the Peace, when Bridget brings
him to Katie.
Katie throws a dream engagement party and wedding for Bridget and Nick this
week.
This Week: Felicia finds Stephanie in a vulnerable place. Steffy shows Marcus
the ropes. Owen exhibits another side of himself.
