Brooke: You have a child with Steffy, and you have another one with Hope, but you're not married to either one of them, and those are the relevant facts.

Liam: Yeah, that makes me cringe.

Brooke: Mm. You seem to think that you're being disgraceful, and that's your prerogative. But I've been disgraceful for a long, long time, and it's been my traveling companion, and I have to tell you, your situation doesn't rate. Sure, you feel bad for Steffy, but the fact is you are free to make a decision about how you want to live your life.

Liam: You know something, maybe I don't want to be free to decide.

Brooke: Yeah, I know that about you. You're kind of like me in that regard. When I love, I want to give everything, and what is everything...but marriage?

Liam: But, Brooke, I mean... for months, I couldn't stand the sight of Steffy because she betrayed the vows that we made to each other, and now... I've betrayed her.

Brooke: Liam, is it really that similar? Sometimes in life, we draw a line that we don't want to cross over, but we do. We step over it anyway. And you did that with Hope. But Steffy chose to do that with her husband's father.
