Eric: Steffy is my granddaughter and she has to come first.

Wyatt: So you really cared about my mother, huh?

Eric: Yes, I see the good in her. I know you do, too.

Wyatt: It's why I always end up forgiving her. She can't be all that bad, she raised me.

Eric: She did a good job, too, for the most part. She's a good mother, a terrific business woman who turned that jewelry business from nothing. She had a lot of challenges along the way and made some bad choices too. But she has changed, Wyatt, I can see that.

Wyatt: The fact that she was with you shows she hasn't. She targeted you.

Eric: That is not what happened at all. She came to me to ask for her job back. We got to talking and began to enjoy each other. It was mutual, nothing malicious at all, just two people connecting.
