Liam: I'd better head to work before Dad gives Wyatt my parking spot.

Katie: Do you resent him?

Liam: My dad or Wyatt?

Katie: Either.

Liam: Yeah. Both. I do, definitely. I mean I don't know. To be fair, Wyatt really did think I was gone, so it's kind of hard to blame him for that. And Dad is just... protecting his son's marriage, and that's something he feels very strongly about, so it's kind of hard to resent that. I don't -- I don't always like what my dad preaches, but he does practice it. Exhibit " A" is his commitment to you and the family, and I think that's something we should all strive for, and that is why, as much as I wish Steffy and Wyatt's marriage would crash and burn, I kind of have to remove myself.

Katie: Well, I respect you for stepping back and just letting that marriage be. I know it probably doesn't feel like it, but it's the right thing to do.

Liam: Thanks. That means a lot, and I trust your judgment. Can you just -- Can you do me a favor, though? Can you promise me that you will be brutally honest with me if like 10 years from now I'm still moping around, waiting for Steffy to leave Wyatt, and, meanwhile, they're on like their third honeymoon and 2.4 beautiful children?

Katie: I will slap some sense into you.

Liam: Ah! Thank you! Thank you for the violence.
