Stephanie: Well, it could have been worse.

Brooke: It's really crazy. I mean, out of all the people there in Aspen, Hope and Steffy manage to collide on the mountaintop. I would definitely call that fate.

Stephanie: Oh... it's not fate. It's just some big ol' dumb joke. God.

Brooke: Oh, come on, Stephanie. After all of the things that have happened to us through the years, you still don't believe in fate?

Stephanie: I-I guess I just never had the luxury of being starry-eyed. But I have to tell you, this whole situation really distresses me. Here we have these two beautiful young women, their whole lives ahead of them, endless possibilities in this world. And instead of figuring out who they are and what their place is, no, they're chasing Liam. They shouldn't be chasing Liam or any other fellow.

Taylor: Oh, believe me... I'm with you on that. I--you won't get an argument out of me on that one.

Brooke: But it is upsetting, that they're falling in to the same patterns that we did.

Taylor: That being said, no matter what Steffy wants, as long as she's happy, then I'm going to support her.

Brooke: As I will, Hope.

Taylor: At least Steffy isn't the one bending the rules. She is Liam's wife.
