Dayzee: You hid something in your purse when I came in. What was it?

Amber: Just doodling some new designs. (Chuckles) Not my best work if you must know.

Dayzee: Oh. So why not just throw it in the trash can?

Amber: 'Cause I can't do that. Someone could fish it out and steal it. Jeez! What is this, the Spanish Inquisition?

Dayzee: (Chuckles) I'm surprised you know what that is.

Ridge: What are you doing out here?

Brooke: Oh, just getting some fresh air. It's unsettling having Amber in the building.

Amber: Well, I have changed. I am more sophisticated. I'm driven. You know, you--you and I, we're--we're actually a lot alike. You didn't grow up with a fancy spoon in your mouth, either. We're kindred spirits. You get me, I get you.

Dayzee: (Laughs) Whoa! Whoa, Amber. What makes you think that we're anything alike?

Amber: (Laughs) Well, we both grew up on the wrong side of the freeway, sweetheart.

Dayzee: (Chuckles)

Amber: Scratched and clawed to get ahead.

Dayzee: No, no, no, no. Amber, we are very different people. I mean, you do... what you do, and... (Laughs) Hey, I work in skid row, for crying out loud.

Amber: All right, all right, all right. Jeez, don't get all high and mighty now that you've got the rock on the finger.

Dayzee: (Laughs)

Amber: So you're gonna be a Forrester--big deal. I'm already a Forrester. My little girl's a Forrester. You know, the Forresters are my family. I belong here, you know? Uh, there's no way I'm leaving this place. I love Rick so much. I always have. And Brooke--she's just gonna have to learn to accept that.
