Stephanie: Yes, I know-- no more than I am with myself. I-I don't know. I just thought that... well, I just thought, you know, well, I wanted to believe that what I thought was the right thing for you, and it was--I'm sorry. It was very dysfunctional of me. And I, um... well, I kind of thought it was like giving you a gift. Well, you know, I kind of thought if you were with Taylor and the children, you'd be happy.

Ridge: You mean, what would make you happy-- that's what you really wanted.

Stephanie: Yes. Yes. And, uh, I'm sorry. Yeah. I did the one thing-- well, I did a terrible thing. I did. I-I made you believe that Brooke had betrayed you. And it was me that did the betraying. I did the one thing that I... well, I... I betrayed you, and I hurt you terribly.

Ridge: You didn't just hurt me, Mother. It's a long list.
