Brooke: I want Ridge to be loved completely, the way that he should be, the way that I couldn't. And I-I couldn't be a good wife for him. But you can be. I just want you to--to love him and to take care of him and spend time with him, grow old with him-- all the things that I fantasized about. I made a mockery out of this-- something that was so sacred. And giving it to you makes me feel like I can take a step forward, like I can fix things.

Taylor: Brooke, I...I could never wear your ring. What--

Brooke: No, no, just keep it as a reminder of everything that I had and I lost because I ruined it. All I want is Ridge's happiness. So that'll remind you to keep him happy. Keep it. Keep the ring and take care of Ridge... the man that we both love so much.
