Ridge: Your designs are good, Thomas... but not good enough.

Thomas: What do you mean, good enough"?

Ridge: We're not moving ahead with the Taboo women's line.

Thomas: Are you kidding me?

Brooke: Ridge, take your time and think this through.

Ridge: Brooke, I don't need any more time. I've already agreed to continue the men's Taboo line. I never gave an okay on the women's side.

Thomas: All right. All right, so what about granddad? He's the founder of Forrester Creations. He says he wants to help me design the women's line.

Ridge: Your grandfather is no longer C.E.O. This is my decision, Thomas.

Thomas: It's a bad one.

Ridge: All right, Thomas. You're gonna force me to say this. Forrester Creations is the standard bearer. Everything we put out there has to be the best in the industry. Your designs don't make it.

Thomas: Wow, 'cause you're punishing me for kissing your wife in a moment of stupidity?

Ridge: This has nothing to do with that. As C.E.O., it's my job to make sure the best interests of this company come first. That is what I'm doing.

Thomas: No, Dad. Come on. This is personal. No matter how you try to spin it, this is not a business decision.

Ridge: Look, I'm sorry you're disappointed. And I'm sorry you cannot see that Taboo for women is not a good idea right now.
