Stephanie: Well, then you can just leave quietly. Listen, this isn't about you, you know? It's about me, although it's nice to have a friend by my side.
Nick: I don't want you think I'm not trying to quit, 'cause I am.
Stephanie: I know.
Nick: I just seem to go back and forth with this. Sometimes I think one puff of a cigar, and I'm gonna die from it, and then I think, well, I could have died on the freeway over here. And then I think, well, you know, it's been a tough day. Don't I deserve a cigar at the end of the day?
Stephanie: Well, the pros don't outweigh the cons on that one. And what about your boy?
Nick: Well, I've thought about that. I think I've come up with a few ground rules for myself. Once jack goes to bed, he's asleep, I can go outside and have a cigar in the evening if I want.
