Taylor: Brooke has done a lot of questionable things, and you always forgive her.

Ridge: I'm not saying anything like that would ever happen. It'd be over. Oh, you don't believe me?

Taylor: That just sounds shocking coming out of your mouth.

Ridge: Some lines can't be crossed.

Taylor: Oh, I agree.

Ridge: I think Brooke understands that completely now, too. That's why I felt it was okay to run with this Taboo campaign. My family has seen its last scandal. There will be no more.

Taylor: Oh, you've said that before.

Ridge: Look, you had a very honest, open talk with Thomas about all this. I did the same with Brooke. I made it very clear to her that another scandal would be the last straw.

Taylor: I'm gonna hold you to that one.

Ridge: You won't have to. But you already knew that, didn't you? That's why you invited me here today.

Taylor: Maybe because I've missed you.

Ridge: We don't do this enough.

Taylor: Really? It feels like there's a crisis every other week.

Ridge: Well, I mean talk honestly, openly like we used to.

Taylor: We've always been so good at that.

Ridge: Among other things. I wouldn't trade our years together for anything.

Taylor: Neither would I, Ridge.

Ridge: I know we're not married anymore, but you will always be one of the most important people in my life, and not just because of our kids. It's because we have a history, a very special connection. It's like we can depend on each other. I meant what I said. There can be no more scandals in my family. If anything were to happen between our son and my wife, my marriage would be over. I would take flight to safety... straight to you.
