But as difficult as it is, you have to try and move emotion from this situation and see Stephanie's offer for what it is-- nothing. Empty. Even if she makes this speech, the effect that it would have would be minimal, if at all. Her objective is to have your father in prison and have Eric keep his full percentage of Forrester Creations. She wants to get something for nothing.

Bill: That's right. Stephanie is the villain here, not your father.
Katie: Yeah, well, my father's the one sitting in jail. And Stephanie is claiming it was self-defense.
Donna: Daddy, we know why you did what you did.
Katie: Listen, even if your lawyers can prove that there were extenuating circumstances, there is evidence of premeditation.
Bill: None of which will be erased from a pretty little speech by "Six-gun Sally."
