Steffy: I want us to slow down. Everything happened just way too fast.

Rick: Okay, fast or slow. I can do it either way.

Steffy: I'm serious.

Rick: I'm serious, too. I was just kidding. Look we can do it at whatever pace you're most comfortable with, as long as I'm with you. That's all that matters.

Steffy: Well, we just jumped into everything, and I-I just--I want to be sure.

Rick: Steffy, I thought you were sure about this.

Steffy: Look, I'm not stupid.

Rick: I'm not saying you are. Where the hell is this coming from?

Steffy: You said some terrible things about me and our relationship to my dad. And he recorded it. Look, um... I forgive you, but this is really hard to forget. I believe in us, and I want us to be together, but you got to earn back my trust.

Rick: So what you're saying is that we can be together and we can do this, but if I mess up just once, you're gonna hang me out to dry. Then I swear I won't mess up again.
