Brooke: So you think our marriage has been damaged?

Ridge: It's been strained, and it's gonna continue to be strained as long as he's in our lives. I realize you don't see it that way, but for the life of me, I don't know why. If you just would listen to those recordings--

Brooke: No. I don't need to. Rick told me what you made him say.

Ridge: That's just the thing. I didn't make him say any of that. Look, I don't want to argue about this anymore. The truth about your son is finally out in the open. My daughter has cancelled the engagement, and I'll be home to the house there as soon as he's gone.

Brooke: But until then, you're staying at Taylor’s?

Ridge: I'd rather sleep in our bed tonight. Whether I do or don't, that's totally up to you now.
