Rick: Look, I'm not going to take up a lot of your time. I just wanted to come here and tell you that I appreciate....and I'm grateful for everything you have done for me over the last couple of months and I didn't want it to end this way.

Eric: I'm not thinking of this as an ending. Look, it's always been a dream for me to have my children working with me side by side. And while it is clearly impossible for you to be here now, I think things will probably change in the future.

Rick: Maybe yeah. Working with you and Mom just felt right.

Eric: It did, didn't it? Get some help, son.

Rick: I will, dad, I promise....look I'm a proud man. I'm going to walk out of here with my head held high. I'm not going to be looking for pity. I'm sure as hell not going to be looking for you and Mom to solve my problems again. I'm going to prove to you that I can take care of myself.

Eric: Good, I'm glad.

Rick: I want you to know that I never meant to disappoint you.

Eric: You did....and that hurt. But, I never stopped loving you, son. And I never will.
