For a short amount of time the attention from Brooke and Ridge
had been diverted from the show and interesting storylines were
penned concerning Thorne and Spectra, Hector and Samantha and Amber
and Thomas. Now, Brooke and Ridge are front and center once again.
In one of the most boring and uneventful weeks in recent B&B memory,
everyone fussed over Ridge and his special “connection” with
Bridget. Ridge and Bridget is Stephanie’s main topic of
conversation, from Eric to Brooke to Ridge everything that comes out
of her mouth is “Ridget” concerned.
Amber and Thomas’s relationship also revolves around Ridge. In a
desperate attempt to defeat Ridge and keep Thomas she took
compromising photos of Bridget and Ridge hugging. Thomas is 18 years
old, he can do whatever he wants! Ridge should not dictate his son’s
life, and push him towards another woman. If Thomas loves Amber as
he says he does she should not be insecure and trust him he will
remain loyal and faithful to her.
Nick’s attempt to set up Bridget with one of his friends failed, but
proved how wonderful and sweet of a man he is. He has played
matchmaker for Bridget and Deacon (although he was actually plotting
his demise) yet he is alone. The conversations between Bridget and
Nick are interesting and the highlight of the week. However, both
need to move on and stop commiserating and sharing stories of failed
romance to each other. I have hopes for a Nick-Brooke reunion and
hopefully with the exposure of Amber’s pictures Brooke will find
comfort in Nick.
Sally was not pleased with Thorne’s announcement concerning his
desire to obtain half of Spectra. Thorne has no right to demand
this, as Sally pointed out: Spectra is her company and she has
overseen and ruled over that company for years. Handing it over to a
Forrester is a preposterous idea.
