Lily and Damian Adopt Noah! When an unconscious Noah needs crucial surgery
this week, and there’s no one available to provide consent, Lily and Damian make
a shocking move. Of course, with Noah out cold, he has no idea that he is about
to get a new family, along with some much-needed surgery to ease the swelling of
his brain. But after Noah’s surgery, he’s not so quick to agree. Noah doesn’t
like Damian, but trusts Lily and that she has his best interests at heart.
Holden, meanwhile, has his kids’ interests at heart when he hears Damian is
moving in with Lily.
This Week: Henry is served with a restraining order by Katie. Holden has a
threat for Lily. Mick makes his pitch to Barbara. Janet is grateful for
Dusty’s support. Maddie tries to get closer to a distracted Casey.

Mark Collier’s Return! After a two-year absence, Mark Collier returns to
the daytime canvas this week to briefly reprise his role when Jack travels
to Greenville, SC, and encounters Mike.
Tom Pelphrey finally debuts in Oakdale this week as Mick Dante.
Carly Chases Jack! Carly sets out to find an emotionally wrecked Jack in
Philadelphia this week. Carly gets a call from Ben Harris at her house in
Milltown and he’s concerned about what he sees when he runs into Jack.
Carly decides to go after Jack, but Craig’s affair with Rosanna isn’t
Carly’s chief motivation for chasing after her ex. When Carly gets to
Philadelphia, Jack’s already gone. Rosanna and Craig, meanwhile, are
concerned about recovering Carly’s well-being and fear that she’ll start
drinking again, so they follow her to the City of Brotherly Love, but don’t
necessarily receive a warm welcome. By week’s end, Jack makes his way to
Greenville, SC, where he shares a fast and furious reunion with Mike
Kasnoff, who has returned to his stock car racing roots. When Carly gets
wind of Jack’s new whereabouts, she is hot on his trail.

Carly Returns! Maura West, who has been on maternity leave since July,
returns to the canvas this week when Carly finally comes home from her stint in
rehab. Her reunion with Craig, however, doesn’t go as planned. Carly walks
through the door and Craig chickens out on telling his finacee that he ahs been
having an affair with Rosanna. Things get awkward when Carly takes Rosanna and
Craig to an AA meeting. When Carly later pays Craig a visit, she leans in for a
big kiss and he recoils. Carly figures that Craig is feeling uncomfortable
because it has been a while, so she goes to buy lingerie. Then, Rosanna goes to
see Craig and leaves the door open because she is in a hurry. They agree that
they have to tell Carly the truth and she shows up and sees them kissing.

Lily and Holden: Over! Lily’s forced to make a tough decision this week
regarding the men in her life. Holden goes to have his death certificate fixed
and asks the judge about the legality of Lily’s marriages to him and Damian.
The judge says that one of the marriages has to be annulled, so it is Lily’s
decision. Lily is shocked when Holden says that he wants to dissolve their
union, but later obliges.
Luke is bothered by scenes in Noah’s film on 11/5. Maddie gets an
interesting offer from Hunter on 11/10.
What Will Happen: Jack hits the road looking for answers and runs into an old
friend. Craig and Rosanna prepare to tell Carly the truth. Emily is intrigued
by a stranger’s proposal.

Brad Dies! The week kicks off with Brad clinging to life in the hospital
after he was accidentally shot by Jack while trying to rescue a kidnapped
Katie. Because of the trauma – and the fact that she just gave birth –
Katie is initially in the dark about her husband’s condition. She shares an
emotional moment alone with him and tells him about their son. Then he
wakes up. Brad tells Katie he has a name picked out for their son and Katie
rushes out to retrieve the infant, but when she returns, it’s too late –
Brad has died.

Stuart Damon ends his run as Ralph Manzo on 10/30.
Judi Evans ends her stint as Maeve Stone on 10/30.

*HOW SWEEPS IT IS!* The lowdown on the hottest November stories on every
show! The fallout of Brad’s death affects everyone. Jack feels guilty
about what he has taken from Katie, Janet, Liberty and Katie’s new baby.
Jack has a hard time going back to his family and explaining himself and
ends up getting ready to leave town to figure things out. Vienna will be
gone for a while. Carly shows up in town as Jack is hitting rock bottom,
and they cross paths outside Brad’s funeral. Rosanna and Craig continue to
sleep together. Lily is shocked and excited about Holden’s return and
believes they can pick back up where they left off, but legally she is
married to Damian and Holden isn’t sure if he can jump back in. Meg starts
digging and finds out that Damian knew that the DNA in the car wasn’t
Holden’s, so she holds that information over him. Casey and Alison break
up, prompting Maddie to be there for him and want to start a new
relationship with him. Paul and Emily had pinned their hopes on Liberty’s
baby giving them a fresh start and Emily wonders if it is ever meant for
them. When Luke sees that Mason is taking advantage of Noah, his Damian
side will come out and he will make choices that will have some consequences
for him and Noah.
What Will Happen: Jack can’t cope with his mistake. Craig and Rosanna
have some explaining to do. Lily falls into Damian’s trap.

Maura West returns from maternity leave, so Carly makes her return to the
canvas on 11/2 – just in time to help the kids and Jack grapple with family
tragedy.
Nicholas Calhoun appears on 10/28 as Officer Bridges, who works with
Jack.
Brad Dies! It’s time to get out the hankies – especially for new mom
Katie – when Brad succumbs to his gunshot wound this week and dies. Katie
is devastated to see Brad unconscious in a hospital bed, but soon gets some
precious moments with him awake. Katie talks about giving birth to their
son and even rushes out to bring the baby in to see his father – but it’s
too late. Brad codes, and it’s a shock. The impact is instantaneous and
devastating. Guilt-ridden Jack is forced to tell Katie that it was his
bullet that took Brad’s life, but, surprisingly, she doesn’t blame him.
Henry and Katie’s friendship takes a major hit, and Katie will continue to
stagger beneath the weight of this loss.
This Week: Jack has a hard time returning to work. Dusty finds trouble
when he tries to teach Ralph a lesson. Lily continues to play into Damian’s
plan. Emily acutely feels the loss of Liberty’s child. Alison is troubled
by Maddie and Casey’s closeness.

SOD 10/27/09
Katie Gives Birth! Katie’s attempt to help Henry backfires and ends in
tragedy this week. After receiving more threats from Ralph, Henry pays
Katie a visit. He is freaking out about getting involved with this guy.
So, Katie takes it upon herself to meet with Ralph. Katie is immediately
surrounded by Ralph’s goons, who take her hostage. They take her to a
warehouse and realize that she is pregnant. They freak out and leave her
here. Meanwhile, Ralph calls Henry and threatens to kill Katie if he
doesn’t pay up. Henry confides in Barbara that Katie’s been kidnapped, and
she finally helps him get James’s money. But things don’t go as planned
with Ralph, who says that he doesn’t know where Katie is being held. Henry
and a worried Brad head out to find Katie on their own. Back at the
warehouse, Katie’s so stressed out that she goes into labor and gives birth
to a baby boy. Afterward, Ralph shows up brandishing his gun, and a
delirious Katie begs him to let her baby live. By week’s end, tragedy
strikes.

Lynn Herring will exit on 10/27 as Audrey Coleman.
Audrey’s Arrested! Audrey seeks revenge on Barbara this week and decides
to poison Barbara’s drink. When Henry gets wind of what’s going on, he
comes to Barbara’s rescue and literally tackles her so she won’t take a sip
of the deadly cocktail. Barbara calls the cops on Audrey, who is then
arrested for attempted murder.
Liberty is dealt a devastating blow on 10/22. Alison is upset to see
Maddie consoling Casey on 10/23. Barbara plays a trick on Audrey on 10/27.
What Will Happen: Katie’s world is turned upside down. Jack makes a
terrible mistake.
SOW 10/27/09
Anthony J. Gallo (Sal) and Gino Caccavale (Fin) appear on 10/19 and 10/20
as thugs who cause trouble for Katie.
Nick Lawson will appear on 10/23 as a graffiti artist who must deal with
Brad.
Katie Gives Birth! Katie delivers her and Brad’s son this week, under
the most horrible of circumstances. Henry comes to town and is freaking out
because he needs to leave town. Katie decides that she is going to go talk
to this Ralph guy herself. Ralph’s goons haul Katie off to an abandoned
warehouse. The guys realize that she is pregnant and take off because they
don’t know what to do. Leaving Katie to try and find her way out of the
warehouse – and then go into labor. Luckily, she has a hallucination of
Brad and he helps her through it. Ralph shows up at the warehouse and
threatens Katie and her newborn.
**November Sweeps Preview** What happens to Brad puts Jack in a place
that we haven’t seen before. Rosanna and Craig have told themselves that
Carly will be back and won’t want Craig, but Carly comes back and says that
one of the things that got her through rehab was thinking about Craig
waiting for her. Mick (Tom Pelphrey) will come in with promises for both
Emily and Barbara – that he can change their lives. Casey and Alison will
be pulled back toward each other. Holden tries to get over the fact that
Lily got married in his absence, but it is difficult for him. Holden will
try to move on with his life. Lily tries to get Holden back, but decides
that going for it with Damian is for her. Mason will become more aggressive
with Noah. Luke will have more of his Damian side coming out and will act
on it – with consequences for him and Noah. Teri will be working for Dusty
and start having feelings for him, but he isn’t interested. Janet and Dusty
will come into each other’s orbits and he will help her through Jack’s time
away.
This Week: Jack learns of Craig and Rosanna’s affair. Henry tries to fix
his mistakes. Alison’s upset to see Maddie consoling Casey. Lucinda plays
matchmaker.
Can’t Miss: Liberty is dealt a devastating blow on 10/22.

Vienna and Babs Tangle! Barbara is on cloud nine after her steamy romp
with Henry this week. Barbara learns that she is cancer-free. Meanwhile,
Henry is guilt-ridden that Vienna was hospitalized for smoke inhalation
while he was seducing Barbara, so he tries to end the affair. Later,
Barbara tells Audrey about her fling. So, Barbara goes to surprise Henry,
but her plan backfires and Vienna finds her in very inappropriate attire,
lounging on the bed waiting for Henry to show up. Vienna makes a nasty
remark about Barbara’s age and the claws come out. When Henry arrives, all
hell breaks loose.
Liberty dashes Emily’s hope on 10/14. Dusty tells Bonnie the truth on
10/15. Brad and Katie get news about their baby on 10/16.
What Will Happen: Craig and Rosanna can’t stay away from each other.
Vienna catches Barbara in her bed. Audrey goes too far.
SOW 10/20/09
Barbara and Henry: Exposed! The truth about Barbara and Henry’s hot
hookup comes out this week, leaving Vienna devastated and Barbara
victorious. Barbara revels in Henry’s attention – even if he is only doing
it to keep her from pursuing 50% of the Stenbeck fortune and discovering
that Ralph is laundering it all through Metro. Barbara is determined to
oust Vienna from the equation. Barbara conveniently places herself in the
middle of Henry’s bed in her sexiest lingerie, so that Vienna will walk in
on her. Henry interrupts the cat-fight and gets the ladies to sheathe their
claws. Vienna is crushed when he is forced to admit that what Barbara says
is true, and she walks out on Henry.
This Week: Liberty dashes Emily’s hopes and goes back to her old ways.
Dusty comes clean with Bonnie. Vienna and Katie find themselves in peril.
Parker learns Craig and Rosanna’s secret.

Holden Returns – As Lily And Damian Wed! Lily’s world is turned upside down
yet again this week when she sees Eb holding Faith at gunpoint in her living
room. Eb impales himself on a fire poker and dies during the scuffle. After,
Jack determines that Eb was the man trying to get ransom from Lily, and that
Holden is in fact dead. So, when Damian asks her to marry him, she accepts.
Lily then informs her family that she and Damian are planning to wed
immediately. Lucinda boycotts the ceremony until the last minute and Emma
leaves town, but Luke has her back. Faith agrees to the nuptials. Before the
nuptials, Lily visits Holden’s grave. Meanwhile, Holden is injured and knocked
unconscious when he and Maeve escape from Skagg’s cellar. Maeve takes him to
the hospital and flees. When Holden recovers, he heads back to Oakdale to see
his family – unaware that everyone has gathered in his living room, where Damian
and Lily have just been pronounced husband and wife.

Meg is devastated when she hears Damian’s news on 10/7. Noah is insulted
when Mason offers his opinion about Luke on 10/8. Vienna and Katie’s lives are
put in danger on 10/12.

Lily And Damian Wed – And Holden Walks In! Damian and Lily get hitched this
week, as Holden finally makes his way home to his family. When Damian proposes,
it feels like accepting is the most normal thing in the world. The very moment
that Lily finds out that Holden is still alive, is right after she and Damian
have exchanged “I do’s.” Lily is overcome with joy and rushes to Holden’s
side. The fact that she just married Damian – after sleeping with him – doesn’t
even seem to register. When Holden confronts her about everything that has
transpired in his absence, it doesn’t go too well.
This Week: Damian’s new crushes Meg. Mason’s take on Luke causes Noah to
take offense. Rosanna and Craig can’t stay away from each other. Paul is
unsettled by Meg’s behavior.
Can’t Miss: Holden comes home on 10/8.
Next Week: Vienna and Katie’s lives are put in danger. Liberty dashes
Emily’s hopes. Dusty tells Bonnie the truth.
SOD 10/6/09
Craig And Rosanna Have Sex! Hot on the heels of their unexpected
smooch, Rosanna and Craig bond over caring for Johnny, who is injured on
the playground this week – and wind up in bed together. The duo takes
Johnny to the hospital, where he’s stitched up and Rosanna is touched by
Craig’s softer side. After Rosanna helps Craig take Johnny home and put
him to bed, they bond over their day and have sex. After their
impromptu romp, Johnny walks in and crawls into bed with them. Rosanna
freaks and leaves, but Craig couldn’t be happier. Later, Rosanna is
insistent that they talk about what happened. They do realize that if
Carly is going to find out, they want to do it the right way and sit her
down and make sure she gets the support she needs so that she doesn’t
get drunk again. Parker basically catches them and puts it all together
very quickly.
Ratings for 9/7: 1.7
Adam receives his verdict on 9/30. Mason makes his feelings clear on
10/2.
What Will Happen: Barbara is taken aback by her feelings. Janet has
a solution to Liberty’s problems. Lily makes a drastic move.

Crazy Rumor: Mason will go all stalker on Noah.
Craig and Rosanna Make Love! On the heels of their smokin’
kiss last week, ex-flames Rosanna and Craig rekindle in bed this
week. Subsequently bonded, Craig and Rosanna are unable to
bring their attraction to heel. After they hit the sheets,
reality sets in. Johnny walks in and crawls into bed with
them. Rosanna instantly pulls back from Craig, and their
dynamic grows argumentative again.
This Week: Audrey offers Henry a way out of trouble. Maddie
comes forward and sets the record straight. Mason makes his
feelings clear to Noah. Jack remains suspicious of Damian’s
motives. Holden makes a discovery.
Can’t Miss: Henry cozies up to Barbara on 10/1.
Next Week: Paul is disturbed by Meg’s behavior. Damian’s
news devastates Meg. Noah is insulted when Mason offers his

SOD 9/29/09
Jack Is Onto Damian! Jack is stunned to learn that Damian and Lily are
hooking up so soon after Holden’s presumed death and wonders if there is
more to the story. In Kentucky, Holden convinces Eb to ask Lily for ransom
money. Eb makes the call, but can’t get through because Damian is on the
phone with Officer Grady, who reveals that the remains found in the car are
definitely not Holden’s. Damian is spooked and secretly heads to Kentucky
to do some investigating. While he’s gone, Luke gets the ransom call from
Eb and learns that Holden is alive. Luke tells Lily, who calls Jack. Luke
and Jack arrive at the money-drop site in Kentucky, only to find Eb is
already there – with Damian. Eb turns his gun on Luke while Jack tries to
get information about Holden. Before Eb can reveal anything, Damian shoves
Eb over the cliff and winds up shot in the process. Jack calls Lily and
says that there is no sign of Holden anywhere. Back in Oakdale, Jack visits
Lily and learns that Damian never told her that he was going to Kentucky.
Meg, meanwhile, breaks into Damian’s hotel room and discovers Holden’s
handwriting samples that Damian claimed to have analyzed. She gives them to
Lucinda, who turns them over to Jack.
Alexandra Chando returns on 9/24 as Maddie Coleman, Adam’s one-time
victim.
Mark Collier returns as Make Kasnoff for a big November storyline.
Mike Houston returns on 9/22 as Officer Grady, a cop from Kentucky.

Rita Lloyd (ex-Edwina) died in her sleep at her home in New York on
9/5 at the age of 79.
A rep confirms three huge returns this fall, on the heels of Lesli
Kay (Molly) coming back and Tom Pelphrey (ex-Jonathan, GL) joining the
show as Mick. Paul Leyden and Mark Collier will return as Katie’s exes,
Simon and Mike, while Peter Parros brings Ben back!
Mike Houston appears on 9/22 as Officer Grady.
Jack Grows Suspicious of Damian! Damian’s odd behavior raises
eyebrows this week, just as Lily is given hope that Holden could be
alive. Jack confronts Lily about her hookup with Damian and says that
Damian has an ulterior motive. Meanwhile, Damian receives a call from a
Kentucky cop, Officer Grady, who informs him that the body in the truck
is conclusively not Holden’s. A shaken Damian immediately makes tracks
to Kentucky – not realizing that Eb has called Luke, demanding a ransom
for Holden’s safe return, and propelling Jack and Luke to head to the
Bluegrass State themselves! Eb ends up holding all three men at
gunpoint and refuses to confess to whether he actually has Holden or
not. A struggle ensues and Damian is shot heroically shoving Eb into a
ravine. But when they get back to Oakdale, evidence points out that
Damian isn’t the good guy – Meg breaks into Damian’s suite and realizes
he never had the handwriting from Maeve’s letter of authorization for
the bank analyzed.
This Week: Lily believes Holden to be alive when a ransom call comes
in. Paul and Emily mourn baby Jennifer. Things get heated between

Lily And Damian Do, Too! After Damian saves Lily from nearly
drowning in the pond, they hit the sheets. Unfortunately, Faith walks
in, finds them in bed together – and blabs to Meg, who promptly dumps
him.
Maeve and Holden make their escape from Eb on 9/16. Paul proves his
love to Emily on 9/17. Parker comes to Liberty’s aid on 9/18.
What Will Happen: Luke gets word that Holden is alive. Damian and
Lily’s secret gets out.
SOW 9/22/09
Tom Pelphrey (Jonathan, GL) will join the cast in the newly created
role of Mick.
Stuart Damon (ex-Alan, GH) debuts as Ralph on 9/18.
Damian and Lily Have Sex! Damian and Lily hit the sheets this week,
after Lily almost literally drowns her sorrows about Holden in the
Snyder pond. Doped up on sleeping pills, Lily follows a vision of
Holden into the pond, and wakes up in the water. Damian rescues her and
when he brings her home, the last thing on his mind is making love to
her. It just happens and is more prompted by Lily, but Damian is
definitely happy to be with her. Damian’s good intentions are for
naught – because Faith walks in on the afterglow. Faith wastes no time
hightailing it over to Meg’s to spill the beans, and then the news
ripples out to the rest of the family. Even Luke, who has no aversion
to his biological parents together, thinks it’s a little too soon.
This Week: Maeve and Holden make a break for it. Faith gets an
eyeful. Adam’s problems continue. Brad and Janet have a row about
Liberty. Vienna has a warning for Henry. Parker comes to Liberty’s
aid.
Can’t Miss: Emily and Paul step up their romance in a big way on
9/17.
