SOD 5/13

Noelle Beck talks about how everyone has reacted to her replacing Martha Byrne as Lily and tells us that Lily returns from her visit with Iva this week to find Holden dancing with Carly.

Liberty reveals her rebellious side to Parker on 5/7.  On 5/8, Brad is shocked by Janet’s arrival.  Chris is pushed away by Alison on 5/12.

What Will Happen- Lily comes back to Oakdale to try to mend her relationship with her family.  Luke is suspicious of Ameera.  Emily and Casey start an adventure in New York City.

Marie Wilson (Meg) is featured in the take five interview.

SOW 5/13

Alex Charak returns as Casey’s pal Elwood to stir up some trouble on May 5 and 6.

Vedette Lim appears as Amy on May 19 when Casey goes on a date.

Lily returns from her visit with Iva this week.  Holden turns down Lily’s offer of “reunion sex”, which causes Lily to ask Carly for help. 

Julie Pinson (ex-Billie, DAYS) speaks about joining the cast as Janet.  Janet just shows up in town because she misses her daughter, Liberty.  She knocks on Brad and Katie’s door interrupting their romantic evening. 

This Week: Alison freezes while in a close moment with Chris.  Emily and Casey team up.  Meg’s actions surprise Paul.  Brad gets some long awaited news. 

Can’t Miss: 5/6 Noah visits Col. Mayer.

Next Week: Alison pushes Chris away, making a huge mistake.  Lily and Carly’s plan backfires.

Brad and Katie’s televised wedding was considered a “hit”.

SOD 5/6

According to Liberty, Brad has a teenage daughter by high school one-night stand, Janet.  Brad encourages Jack to arrest Liberty when she steals a bracelet.

Daniel Hugh Kelly returns as Winston Mayer on 5/6.

Eric William Morris returns on 4/30 as Matt O’Conner, Casey’s prison pal.

Ratings for the week of 4/7: 2.0

Casey is set up on 4/30.  Common ground is found between Carly and Holden on 5/1.  Chris and Alison give their relationship another chance.

Billy Magnussen (Casey) is featured in an article.

There is an article about job fronts and how realistic they are, such as Katie’s job as co-host of Oakdale Now.

What Will Happen: Katie has trouble dealing with Brad’s past.  Paul’s actions horrify Meg.  Colonel Mayer comes back to cause trouble for Noah and Luke.

SOW 5/6

Julie Pinson joins the cast as Janet, Brad’s ex-girlfriend on 5/8.

Daniel Hugh Kelly returns as Colonel Mayer on 5/6.

Eric William Morris appears as Matt on 4/30 on his way to prison.

Austin Peck speaks about Brad’s “new” life.  Brad and Katie had their first marital fight over having children and now Brad has one.  Katie suggests that they have a DNA test done to prove it when Brad realizes that it is possible that Liberty is his daughter. 

Luke moves in with Ameera and Noah this week.  Ameera gives the bedroom to Luke and Noah, but Luke freaks out and leaves.  Noah informs Ameera that he wants out of the “marriage” as soon as possible.

This Week: Paul and Sofie’s relationship changes.  Holden and Carly grow close.  Sparks ignite between Emily and Casey.  Alison attends a family dinner.  Mike and Paul fight 4/30.

Next Week: Alison and Chris decide to give their relationship another chance.  Liberty shows her rebellious side.  Brad’s ex, Janet arrives in town.

Ratings, week of 4/7: 2.0 

SOW 4/29

Crazy Rumor: Eric William Morris (ex-Matt) was so well liked that he’s returning as Adam.

Martha Byrne (ex-Lily) speaks about her last week on the show and what is in her future.  She says that Lily leaves town because of her grief over Dusty’s death (in January) because she hasn’t been able to move on.

There is a timeline of Margo and Emily’s feud.

Emily’s new assistant, Casey, causes a fight between Emily and Margo this week.  Casey gets fired from his job at the Lakeview and Emily offers him a job being her assistant.  A judge, who Emily ran a story about, barges into the office furious and demanding to see the publisher.  The situation becomes violent.  Casey talks the judge down and the cops take him away.  Margo yells at Emily for putting her son in danger.  Casey stands up to Margo and defends Emily.  Emily decides to let Casey go so that the battle with Margo will end, but he won’t go willingly.

This Week: Sofie comforts Paul when things don’t go well with Meg.  Emily hires a new employee.  Katie and Brad start fighting.  Disaster strikes a double date.  Ameera tells Noah how she feels. 

Next Week: Casey is given another chance by Emily.  Luke decides what is in his future with Noah.

SOD 4/29

Maura West is featured in the “Take Five” interview.

Julie Pinson starts airing on May 8 as Janet Ciccone.

Martha Byrne last airs as Lily Snyder on April 22.  She speaks about her departure.

Meg and Paul argue about her hot-air balloon ride with Mike.  Meg thinks that Paul is jealous.  Paul interrupts their argument by kissing her and she agrees to give him another chance.  Paul arranges to have a letter delivered to Mike from “Katie” through Emily.  Mike reads the letter during a live broadcast of OAKDALE NOW and finds out that it wasn’t written by Katie.  Meg breaks up with Paul and he has some drinks with Sofie.

Carly tells Jack how it is going to be on 4/25.  Emily and Casey agree to give their relationship another chance on 4/28.  Luke figures out his future with Noah on 4/29. 

An article features various actors and actresses who have abruptly quit their shows, including Mark Rydell (ex-Jeff).

There is an article about Prison Pals, Lily and Molly.

Ratings for the week of March 31: 1.9

“Spring Fever” (May Preview):  Carly makes Jack decide what he wants.  Lily and Holden try to recover from the past.  Carly spends more time with Holden.  Katie and Brad’s marriage faces a big hurdle.  Mike and Meg continue their friendship.  Sofie views Paul as her rescuer.  Luke becomes frustrated by the situation between Noah and Ameera.  Casey starts his job as Emily’s assistant.  Alison tries to have a normal life.  Matt might return.  Henry worries that he can’t give Vienna what she deserves and Bonnie is involved with that.

What Will Happen:  Katie and Brad have a new problem.  Meg sees something shocking.

Thumbs Down for not giving the fans a reunion, or at least civility, of Carly and Jack.

SOD 4/15

Cady McClain returns May 2nd. She last appeared on ATWT in January.

As reported earlier, Noelle Beck (ex-Trisha, Loving) will play Lily. She first airs May 8. Martha Byrne last airs in the role April 22.

The Daytime Emmy nominations will be announced on The View April 30 by Van Hansis (Luke) and other soap stars.

Ratings, week of 3/17: 2.2

Robert Cuthill plays the immigration agent who makes trouble for Luke, Noah, and Ameera 4/10. He previous played Colin on Days of Our Lives.

Julie Pinson (ex-Billie, Days; ex-Eve, PC) joins the cast as Brad's ex-girlfriend Janet Ciccone, starting 5/8.

4/10 Jack and Carly make love. 4/14 Lisa gets nosy. 4/15 Margo tears into Brad.

Coming up: Meg is drawn back to Paul, despite her best intentions. Mike and Katie see each other. Ameera and Noah go to extremes to keep their secret from getting out.

SOW 4/8

Martha Byrne (Lily) says on her website that her leaving had nothing to do with writing control but with the number of days she worked on the show. Her last day on the set was March 14th. She describes it as "very sad". The show is now denying that they have re-cast the role.

Ratings, week of 3/10: 2.1

Under "Crazy Rumors", it says that Ameera will get pregnant, driving more of a wedge between Luke and Noah.

James Riordan plays Barbara's doctor 4/4 when she gets sicker.

Jennifer Landon (Gwen) talks about leaving the show.

This week, Luke helps out Ameera and Noah's plans by telling a suspicious INS agent that Casey is his boyfriend. He gets suspicious when he finds Casey and Ameera together. Casey goes along with it, even though it shocks him, because he's falling for Ameera.

Brad tries to propose marriage to Katie again. Brad tells Katie how he feels, that he loves her and wants to be everything to her, but he also adds that he doesn't want to be her father, like Jack. She gets upset and leaves. He chases after her, and it sounds like a pretty comical pursuit when they each steal bicycles and he ends up falling into a pond. She thinks he's drowing, so she goes in, too, but he gets up and asks her to marry him. She says she'll think about it. Then they both get arrested for stealing the bikes, but they are let go because of Jack and Margo. Brad knows that he can wear Katie down. Vienna keeps urging Brad to do something extravanagent for Katie. Instead, he puts together a compilation of scenes of them on "Oakdale Now", falling in love.

Coming up this week: 4/2 Mike returns to town. Also: Alison and Chris share a close moment. When Paul tries to buy the farm, he finds out that someone else also wants to buy it. Barbara's health worsens. Jack and Carly head back towards each other. Gwen and Will move away.

Next week: Jack and Carly go to the next step of their relationship. Margo puts her foot down.

SOD 4/1

They have hired a new big name actress to fill Martha Byrne's shoes as Lily (it's Noelle Beck, formerly of "Loving").

Vienna is arrested, thanks to knowing Gray, by FBI Agents, played by Amir Arison and Ivan Hernandez, 3/28.

Gray Gerard (Dominic Fumusa) exits the show this week, as does Matt (Eric William Morris) (too bad, he's cute!). They might bring Matt back, though.

Van Hansis (Luke) has signed a new contract with the show.

Gray tries to blow up Margo, Casey, Matt, and Alison this week, but the bomb does not go off. Gray sneaks back later to kill Margo, and she ends up shooting him.

3/27 Parker gets his verdict. 3/28 Henry and Vienna get a special gift. 3/31 Sofie makes someone a generous offer that has to do with Hallie.

This week: Alison saves the Hughes family from danger. The Snyders hear something shocking from Emma. Jack is asked a difficult question by Katie, who risks everything.

SOW 3/18

Chris is drugged this week by Emily. She has this drug because her mother gave it to her so she could sleep. When she sees Chris with Sofie, she gets upset. She drugs his coffee and doesn't realize he's headed back to work. A nurse and Bob notice his behavior, so he is suspended. He realizes quickly that Emily did it, so he confronts her. She doesn't deny it. Chris thinks that she did it for Paul, but she did it because she hates him.

Noah and Ameera get married this week so that she can stay in the country. The costume designer talks about how she designed the outfits. Lily loans Ameera a dress to wear.

Many of the characters go to Chicago this week. Grey kidnaps Henry. Carly sees Kit. There is a lot of gunplay and other action. Brad and Katie head to the shop where Cowboy Jack was made. Katie gets hit on the head again by Kit, this time with a gun. Jack is distracted by Katie's head injury, so Kit shoots him. Carly grabs Jack's gun and shoots Kit.

Martha Byrne (Lily) is leaving the show. They could not agree on her new contact. On her website, Byrne says that the dispute was over control over her character, not money. Rumor is that the show is looking for a big former soap actress to fill the role.

Ratings, week of 2/18: 2.3

Jon Prescott joins the show as the new Mike, 4/2. Chris Heulsier returns as Cole, Sofie's ex-boyfriend, 3/14.

This week: Luke is optimistic about his future with Noah. Holden gets news from Aaron. Casey gets more suspicious about Matt and Grey. Katie is pushed to Jack by Brad, of all people. 3/11 Paul is yelled at by Will for helping Sofie.

Next week: Henry and Vienna argue over their problems. Carly finds a clue. Bonnie and Brad's evening ends up in tragedy.
