Janet: There you go. Thank you. I understand that you're worried about the kids being in the house with Carly, especially if she is drinking. But I'm worried about my kid, too! Liberty and Parker at the farm together? Uhh-uh. Not gonna work. And I really wish you would have discussed it with me first before you made that offer to Parker.

Jack: You're right. I'm sorry. I should have.

Janet: Okay. Thank you. I just want to make sure we're on the same page.

Jack: No, I understand that, and we should -- and we should be. It's just that I'm so damn worried about my kids, all I can think about is getting them out of there.

Janet: Okay, but think about the bigger picture here. Once Craig and Carly get married and he moves into the house with her, things could get better, you know? I mean, he could be just what she needs there.

Jack: I doubt it.

Janet: All right. I don't want to fight with you, Jack. But it's a possibility that there is someone out there who could be good for Carly besides yourself. So let's give Craig a chance to be that person.
