ATWT Opinion Article

Week in Review
March 13 to March 15, 2006

As the World Turns was preempted Thursday and Friday for a basketball game, but many fans are use to this event because our show always seems to get preemptedÖ.Why is that? Gwen and Will dropped the bomb on Hal that they in fact did get married, and I was shocked that he didnít blow a gasket. He was rather calm, and seemed to welcome the news since he allowed these two Ďlove birdsí (yeah right) to move in with him. Hal was so blown over that he forgot to ask how they got married when they are under aged, this little piece of information was provided by Margo. When Margo found out that they got married she was more shocked then Hal because she went straight home, and accused Maddie and Casey of the ones that picked the right judge. (she was so right, check one off for Margo the cop) Margo had enough and threw Maddie out. Jen is so consumed by the fact that Dusty is missing and presumed dead that she totally stomped all over her brothers news (why does everything have to be about Jen) Since Will was so busy planning his little wedding he didnít get the news that Paul is in fact alive (what a shock) Jen went to deal with her crisis and Johnny was left in the care of Gwen and Will. When Jen arrived at Halís she had a nice talk with Gwen about all of the feelings she has been having about people that were suppose to be dead but are actually alive (Johnny, Paul and now Dusty were all ĎdeadíÖmaybe Jen has a gift) The major part of this weeks episodes for me had to do with Carly/Jack/Katie/Nick. Katie has the biggest mouth that Iíve ever seen, she couldnít leave well enough alone and she had to tell Jack everything. (Carly working at the Galaxy, the letter) So when Jack returned home he flew off the handle again, he couldnít believe that Carly lied to him once again, and he told Carly if he found out that she had anything to do with Nick getting set up their relationship would be over. (How come when something has to happen to this couple it is always Carly?)

Cady McClain

WOW!!! What an actress. I think Cady McClain is such an amazing actress, I was hooked when she first appeared on ATWTís and I thought she was a fine addition to the show. I was kinda upset when she left the show for the first time, and I was glad to see her return, but then she left a few months later. Rumor had it that AMC was trying to win her back, but many reports stated that she would be back to play Rosanna. Then in a sudden turn of events it was announced that Cady would be in fact returning to AMC to play Dixie. Being a huge fan of hers I was torn as to what to do, but then I decided that the best thing to do would be to start watching AMC, so I could see this amazing actress at work. The question that I have (I know everyone else wants to know) is why did she leave ATWT? Did she not like the show?....I donít get it she won an Emmy for her role as Rosanna. I hope the character Rosanna is not recasted.

Well, this is all just my opinion
