Random Thoughts, Questions, & Ideas

Once again I could not sleep last night, insomnia is a bitch! So I watched
the 3 a.m. SOAPnet airing of AMC. So I began to think of other things I did
not mention in yesterday’s article, so here goes:
The storyline now showing is the Satin Slayer, which took place in 2006-2007,
which was obviously 4-5 years before the end of the show. It amazes me how many
of the characters were no longer on the show either because they “died” on the
show, died in real life or just left.
I also took a good look at how some of the characters either changed a lot or
did not change at all in the last few years of the show. Erica – obviously she remained the perpetual teenager. Erica was never
known to her grandchildren as anything other than her children’s mother. She
still kept Jack as her lap dog and after rewatching the final show, I was
even happier that Jack finally walked out on her. Kendall and Zach were having the same argument back then as they did in
the end. Kendall begging Zach to open up, and Zach trying to send Kendall
away to keep her safe. Babe grew from a real golddigger when she came on the show to
a mature young woman. Amanda also went from being the town slut into a mature young married
wife and mother. Yes, she still made mistakes, but she and Jake always were
able to work things out. Dixie just kept coming and going throughout the years, popping up with
some new story of outside forces keeping her away. Julia also emerged
as another young girl with a not so pure past who went on to
become a gifted nurse and adoptive mother to Kathy. When
Annie first came on, she was sweet and the loving mom and
girlfriend. What I wonder is was that an act and she was also a psychopath,
or did living in PV and everything that happened to her cause that to
happen? Ryan did not change from that point to the end. He started that
thing of calling Spike “My Son” back then which became his trademark line
and was very annoying.
Well, that’s about all for now. Have a great week.
I would love to hear from any of my readers.
