Random Thoughts, Questions, & Ideas

OBSERVATIONS:
As I write this column, nothing has been announced with
any certainty about the show.
Keeping this in mind, what if, when AMC returned online,
it was a few years in the future (like they did one season
on Desperate Housewives) and the kids on the show were now
in the 20s?
At this point there is a flood of child actors in the
cast: AJ, Emma, Miranda, Gaby, Spike, Ian, Kathy,
Jenny, Trevor, and Lucy.
Depending on which of the adult cast returns, putting the
show in the near future could be a way of explaining why
some characters are no longer on the show. For the ones that
return, it gives the writers a little play as to what they
have been up to for the past couple of years.
As for the kids, there are a multitude of storylines that
could be played out, depending on how the writers decide to
SORAS them. Would AJ become a mini me of JR? Perhaps he and
good girl Miranda are involved, but Emma (playing the bad
girl sort of like Liza) keeps coming between them. Maybe
Spike and Ian compete in running Cambias? These are just a
few ideas. I would love to hear any of your ideas about
this.
Also putting it in the distant future, there is the
opportunity for Randi and Frankie to now have a baby (giving
Lucy a cousin), perhaps even Natalia and Brot or Scott and
Madison.
I don’t know what TPTB have planned for the end of the
show, or who is coming back or even how Prospect Park plans
on starting off their new series. I just thought this might
be an interesting idea.
Well, that’s about all for now. Have a great week.
I would love to hear from any of my readers.
