Back with more observations and questions.
This week I decided to write about four specific topics as opposed to my
reaction to the week’s episodes.
- The Baby Trevor Fiasco - Where to start? Okay, I know, how about
running a DNA test? Since Amanda was never sure who the father was,
wouldn’t it make sense to find out the truth? I do not like anyone being
told their baby died, but in Soap World this is a staple and we just
have to accept that. That being said, I thought Jake really had this
thing under control. He got Liza a baby that wasn’t Amanda's. He made sure
that when David ran a DNA test on baby Stuart, it would rule him out as the
Father. He reunited Amanda with her baby, even after she thought she
would never see him again. However, like it usually is the more people
that got involved with this whole cover-up, the faster it unraveled. I
do have to say that I truly love how much Jake and Amanda love each
- Marissa – Please, Please, Please, have this character eventually show
us she walks on the “Dark Side” like her Father and Grandmother
(Vanessa). I cannot take this goody, goody routine. I really believe
that she found out about being adopted, and that KWAK was her Mother and
that she kept Babe instead of her. I want so badly to find out she
caused her parents' car accident, and even somehow managed to get
entrance to the Chandler Mansion and was the one who poisoned the
pancakes meant for Babe but eaten by Dixie. I would love that
reveal to happen as she and JR are out to breakfast one day, and she
orders her pancakes the same way as Babe. That might start JR thinking
about things. Who knows?
- Madison – Okay I love this character. I have never seen her on
another show before, but I love the way she plays the spoiled rich girl.
She doesn’t scare easy and only backed down once and that was to her
Father. I hear they are keeping her character on for a while but I would
love her to stay. And please do not rehabilitate her. I do not want her
- Taylor – When did she start to become so “girlie”? She isn’t really
involved with Tad yet, and still she has started to become “Martinized."
Well, that’s about all for now. Have a great week.
I would love to hear from any of my readers.
