Jamison R.

Jamison Rountree is a newcomer to opinion writing. Born on June 28, 1984, in El Paso, Texas, he has been watching Days of our Lives on a regular basis since October, 2002. (His first full episode, however, was Joseph Mascolo's last episode as Stefano DiMera in 2001.) He began watching every day when Hope was kidnapped by Larry Welch, and he's faithfully watched several other characters, storylines, and actors come and go ever since.

Jamison's favorite couples on the show currently include Bo and Hope, John and Marlena, Jack and Jennifer, Shawn and Belle, Lucas and Sami, Roman and Kate, Mickey and Maggie, and the show's newest couple, Patrick and Billie. His former favorite couples include Brady and Chloe, and Rex and Mimi.

Jamison, now 20, currently attends the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, where he majors in business, as a junior. He lives with his father, Gregory, who is presently recovering from leukemia and memory loss, his mother, Regina, a homemaker, and his younger brother, Aaron, who is currently a senior in high school.
